Hi All
I know camo can be overrated, but for bowhunting, I feel like every advantage you can get MIGHT be worth it. Where I hunt in here in AZ is really hard on pants. Lots of cats claw brush and sharp rocks. Blew out a pair of desert BDU's last season and patched em up but would rather not have to do that every year.
I wear 5.11 taclites everyday to work and other outdoor activities but they are not offered in any good camo patterns for out here (IMHO). I know they will stand up to the rigors of the terrain but would like to try to break up my outline a little better than what a solid color can offer.
All I really need is a light grey (5.11 does offer a perfect grey base) with thin, vertical black stripes. A very simple pattern with black and grey I think would be perfect.
Anyone have any experience with doing custom camo jobs on fabric? Its hard to imagine any of the spray products out there staying on very well.
Thanks in advance for advice!
