OTC archery elk in Colorado

Can a member that is a Colorado resident help me with units in NW Colorado? I have years of bow hunting elk in Arizona but have never hunted an OTC unit here in my home state being I moved back about a year ago. I live just west of Loveland and am interested in units in NW areas. Suggestions much appreciated. PMing is also fine as well. Thanks again.

I would look at the OTC elk GMU #s for NW Colorado. Get the Colorado Hunt Brochure http://cpw.state.co.us/Documents/RulesRegs/Brochure/BigGame/biggame.pdfand see pg. 35 for the map.

Then look up the harvest stats for 2016 archery elk at http://cpw.state.co.us/thingstodo/Pages/Statistics-Elk.aspx It starts on page 36 of the 2016 elk harvest report. You'll find several units with success between 11% and 20%. Then, start calling the CO biologists for those areas.
