Now I know this is a small bull compared to many posted on this forum but I am extremely proud of him and truly feel blessed to be able to hunt such a majestic animal. This bull is a trophy in my eyes and it was a great trip and I worked very hard to take this animal on public land.

Gads, no need to apologize for that one, I'd be proud of him too, especially from a public land hunt in Oregon! Nice job SAR. Congratulations!

There are very few units in Oregon where a bull like that gets to walk away. Great job on a nice bull, you should be very proud! Public land elk hunting in Oregon isn't easy.

Any bull is a great bull. Archery or Rifle success on a hunt isnt always killing something either it is what you learn and take home with you. Taking an animal is just the icing on the cake!

Congrats to you SAR. May I ask what unit you hunted? I am from Eastern Oregon and love to hunt those bulls. Moved to western Oregon and shot my first Roosevelt this year with a bow. I put a photo up in the Oregon forum "DIY Oregon". Keep hunting hard!!!
