Got it done on some block management land in western Montana on opening day only an hour into the hunt. Spotted the buck and nine does about a mile away and quickly made a move to get the wind right and got into position. Played cat and mouse with the herd as I inched closer. Finally got to 155 yards and the buck separated enough from the does for me to take a shot. Very cool area and a super fun yet short hunt. Looking forward to some delicious antelope steaks!
