Jrod, we did it last year bowhunting. Spotted a hurt muley buck and used onx to find the land owners name. Googled for his phone number. Hilltop called and gained permission to try a stalk. We thought he had a broken leg, but he ran pretty fast when when the stalk didn't work out in an open field.

We used the offline maps we saved on a recent Montana hunt, worked flawlessly. I never turned on my Garmin.
