I wonder if the backdoor method of seeing our results early will work this year? It didn't work last year.

I don't think it works on Desert Sheep as there are no points involved.

As far as refunds from CO go, are they literally mailed (they keep using the word "mailed" in the regs), or are the funds just credited back to your account/card like everywhere else? I just want to make sure since I'm moving right around the time of refunds.

They send you a check in the mail.

What's the backdoor method?

On the draw results page scroll down to your current points. If you gained a point for 2013, then you didn't draw your first choice. If your points got zeroed for 2013, you drew your first choice. Usually this information is updated a few day's before they post the actual draw results.

That's what they started to offer last year. That's not the original backdoor.

It will be awhile before deer & elk are available. I just checked and my goat showed I didn't draw. Sheep and moose should be right behind them if they aren't up already.
