It is a good thing. The ML success rate on bucks only runs 20% in 35, less in 36 and 361. The nice thing is you get in there two weeks earlier than all the archery deer and elk hunters, which is a crowd. Good luck, and let us know how you did.

Depends on how you look at it. Good for the folks who want to hunt more often, not so good for folks looking for upper age class with more points on the line in the later seasons from the tag increases.
