NR Draw question.

Looking at the NR draw special draw odds with pref points for deer, one person drew a tag with zero points. Is this possible or just a mistake? I would have thought he would have had to enter the Special random draw.

You?re automatically entered into the random round if you don?t draw in the preference point round.

If it was an area that took 1 point in the regular draw it may have had a good chance at drawing with 0 points in the special draw. The special draw usually increases your odds at a higher price.

Lots of deer tags are drawn in the preference point draw with zero points. Look at the Region tags. Lots of examples there. All depends on the number of applicants versus the number of tags available.

Depends on how many permits are available.

100 regular draw tags mean 100 folks get it, points only count if more than 100 folks apply.
