Anyone have any advise on how to be successful for a N. Idaho whitetail with a bow the week of Thanksgiving? Should I plan on a treestand and if so where or would ground blinds work? Rattling/grunting? Ridges or valleys? Will be hunting Units 8, 8A, 10, or 10A. Thanks!

that is full on rifle season than. Typically I try and find a place where I can see as many game trails as possible from one spot. to many animals cruising to limit my self to one trail.

I would almost think to set up where there is lots of feed, and let the does bring in the bucks. Basically the edge next to the fields and timber.

Good advice above, but if it's rifle season and you're bow hunting, then hunt the thick stuff. Find a good creek bottom with a lot of cover. Try to put a few other factors in your favor (feed near by, pinch point, are where trails or hog backs come together). Use a tree stand and wait. Little boring but effective.
