Noisy packs

Hey guys, bought a smaller size pack and has these hooks to detach the shoulder harness from the lower (fanny pack) part of it. Took it out the other day to try it out and that thing is noisy! All it does is squeak the whole time. Is there anything i can put on it so it doesn't make noise or should i just throw the dam thing??? Thanks

just breaking it in will help a little. but if it has a plastic attachment point where the shoulder harness meats, you can throw some first aid tape around it. that has helped with some, just depends on design of pack. don't lose hope yet. keep playing it with it.

What pack is it, if you don't mind me asking?

Its a fieldline pro series, similar to the badlands monster(the same style). Wasn't very expensive and seems to be a decent little pack for day use which is what i wanted it for, if i could just get it to shut up!

You can try to wash it and use some fabric softener to help soften things up, if its the fabric causing the noise. Then you will just have to rewash in scent killing soap. If its the hooks that are making the noise then you might just have to deal with it. Good luck.
