I'm a new hunter, 30 years old. I live in Reno, NV and have grown up in the outdoors camping, hiking, fishing. I pulled my first tag this year, elk, and am excited to get out in the woods

I got area 6.
I've been out scouting a couple times, including this last weekend, and haven't seen a single elk, although plenty of deer and antelope.
do you have any advice for that area at all?
