Feels like a early Christmas!! Cant wait to try it out. Thanks to BitterrootBulls for some pack information as well as Joe and Aron at Kifaru for taking the time to get my order right. Cant forget to thank Angie for updating my order for me after I decided to add something else to the Pack. I am really looking forward to the new pack. :cool:

I was up in the air about getting the Timberline 1 or the Timberline2 but after getting information from those that know way more about the packs than I do. I ended up getting the Duplex Timberline 1 bag/XTL lid in green foliage to save a little weight, the Bikini composite frame with the tactical belt a med and small hunting pouch. I also added the GrabIt II and the lashing kit. All my trips are pack in trips for 7-10 days and the consensus was to go for the DT1. Definitely stoked as I am coming from old school gear and loosing all the extra weight last season made a huge difference. I went from 68 lbs to 58lbs last year including my bow arrows and release for a seven day pack and this year I am going to be sub 55lbs. It really makes a world of difference.

I am hoping this is my last pack. I have a bunch of packs I can get rid of if it works out as I am sure it will. I like many have spent a lot of money on packs that were good but not quite right. Just goes to show you should try to get the best you can the first time.

If you wouldn't mind, could you give us an report after season? I'd be super interested in your post season thoughts.I could really use to lighten a few items on my gear list and a pack is one of them. I've been real hesitant to pull the trigger on one because I already have a couple!

25 contender I'm with you I have a pack frame and five other packs in my closet they are all good, but I think I would have to start making packs to get exactly what I want.lol

Still waiting!! It was supposed to ship on the 15th but haven't gotten a email saying its been shipped. I am ready to use it on my weekly hike.

I sent them a Email to see if mine had been shipped yet. Ship date was to be 4/15. I will let you know when I hear back.
