So you can either do OILs or deer/elk/lope...but...do you only get to pick one OIL species or can you do all three?

Q: If I apply for a bighorn sheep tag, can I also apply for deer, elk, pronghorn controlled hunts?

A:

Hunters are asked to choose between a trophy species (moose, mountain goat, or bighorn sheep) or deer, elk, and pronghorn when applying for controlled hunt tags. This rule was implemented to improve the drawing odds for moose, mountain goat, pronghorn and bighorn sheep. However, hunters who apply and don’t draw a trophy tag can submit an application for deer, elk or pronghorn in the second application period.

I got this from F&G ask page, I couldn't find any thing in regs but makes it sound like you can only apply for either moose, sheep or goat. where as if you put in for deer elk or lope u can apply for all 3. which I do every year I don't apply for moose.

IT IS MY BELIEF ,AND I COULD BE WRONG, but I think you must choose between moose ,goat, and sheep

Never hurts to ask.
I found a spot with a bunch of goats in da ho last year. Good odds (5%ish) just not sure I have the desire to hunt and kill one...should I be punched in the nose or is it something I should try and do once in my life?
There's just so many great deer and elk hunts but with this winter it might be the year to go for an oil...

Yea but a goat tag would probably be twice as fun and may be easier to draw depending on the tag

pick one species and, apply that is it. It is not one species of each(once in a lifetime and deer\elk), but one species all together.

If you don't apply for OIL's you can apply for deer, elk and antelope not just one of the 3
