I'm so excited to write that my family (wife and two children) and I will be moving to Montana this coming year. We are moving from Missouri. I have finally got my business to a point I can actively retire....
I have a lot of elk hunting experience (over 20 elk hunts), but I have not been able to the past 5-6 years. I love the West and everything it is about.
I just turned 50 and can't wait to start getting back in hunt shape. Setting in tree stands in Missouri is not all that hard. We do have some nice whitetails.
The hard part is trying to figure out just what I will do first.
..... Unfortunately, I will have to apply as a non-resident the first year, but that is OK... I will gladly make my contribution.
We will be moving to the Missoula area. I will be looking to make some new Montana hunting friends.
In 2016, I would like to hunt Elk, Deer and Antelope...
I'm currently in the process of doing a very exhaustive DIY hunting research analysis on Idaho and Montana. I will probably hunt both states since I will be in Missoula. I will share with the group when I am finished. I'm currently putting together a hunting group of my friends from Missouri.
