I just joined the forum today but have been a long time reader of the magazine and forum - just been lurking and not posting. Well I finally got around to registering today.
I have been an avid elk hunter over the last 16 years.
I just posted a thread in Elk hunting forum for an Archery unit draw tag. I need some advise to narrow down the search before I come for a scouting trip this summer.
I have hunted Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and am building points in UT. If anyone wants to trade information/experiences for Colorado units I could help.
I am fixing my diet and exercising, establishing my base fitness level, making gear decisions and hunt plans for this fall season and subsequent draw years.
