Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I am a 34 year old farmer from Illinois that enjoys time outdoors and particularly bow hunting. Most of my hunting is whitetails but I do get out west for a few weeks every year on a couple hunts. I've been chasing whitetails since I was a kid and went on my first elk hunt in 2007.
I have been researching on the forum for awhile now and really like how courteous and helpful everyone is to one another. Looking forward to meeting some great people!

Correction: Its the only good thing about the state. Our local state park just closed because they were behind 6 months on utility bills. The democrats in Chicago spent the state into ruins. Deer herd is only a shell of what it once was.

True...true! Was the only thing I liked about that state that's for sure, oh that and my wife she's from there to, but I met her in college in GA. So even she was smart enough to get the h&$/ up out of there. Lol
