Hello everyone. Joined the forum a few years ago trying to do some research for a elk hunt that never came to be. Now me and 2 buddies have decided that next year it is going to happen. Been a life long turkey and deer hunter in central Wisconsin, hunting mostly public lands until a couple years ago when my dad, brother and I secured a lease on some excellent private land. Run bear with hounds in the Chequamegon National forest and have been doing that for not quite 20 years now. Hunted up near Walden, CO for deer back in 91 and as a group had excellent success, harvesting a western 3 point myself. Anyway, thanks ahead of time for all the tips, comments, etc. from past posts and going forward.
