Hello everyone been lurking a while since I started prepping for my first elk hunt in Colorado. I started mule deer hunting about 5 years ago. Been around Jackson Hole, Cody, Casper, and Lingle, WY. Hunted Montana two years ago near Bridger. This year we did our first elk hunt near Hotchkiss, CO. While we were not successful it was a great trip and learning experience. I'm a longtime WI whitetail hunter but I eat, breath, and dream of my upcoming annual journey west. I found this forum has been great for learning anything from hunting techniques to first hand gear reviews. I'll throw up some pics from my various hunts. Great to be on the forum!

My biggest mule deer. Eastern WY

MT deer. No monsters but we had a great time!

The photos are great; welcome to forum. Hard to believe not a single Packers logo in any of the pics!

Thanks guys! I'll be lurking in the elk forum and following Kryptek gear reviews for now. Looking to add cold weather pieces to my current kit for late season bow in WI or late season high country hunts.

My uncle just took this beast down yesterday. Scored 161.
