Well I'm not one for reading directions so I missed the part about introducing one's self. My bad. I'm Jason I live in the Boise area. Have been there for 18 years now. Have always lived out west. Was in the Dakota 's for a few months for work and realized just how much I need to see mountains in my life. Like everybody here I love the outdoors. Spend as much time as I can in it. After my wife and I were married she decided if she wanted to spend more time with me she needed to get her hunting license. This year our son is finally able to go on his first deer hunt as the hunter. So we are very excited to get him more involved with the outdoors (and away from video games). I just purchased my first backpacking gear and after talking about it forever am planning two trips this fall in to the backcountry. Am super excited about that also.
So. All that being said I look forward to joining the forum and giving my advice when I can and learning as much as I can from others.
