Hello to all, I am a 37yr old Correctional officer for IDOC, been doing it for 14yrs, I grew up on a farm in illinois hunted quill, pheasant,&rabbits until I started whitetail hunting. I have harvested some nice whitetail deer and some big gobblers ,so in 2007 I took my first trip to Colorado mule deer hunting.(first time ever past Missouri) Then in 2012 I went to Wyoming on a DIY antelope hunt and was able to harvest a 79" Buck so now I'm hooked and I am planning an elk hunt in Wy.My plan is to get out west every 3 or 4 years if my wife and 8 kids will allow me. Thanks for your time Lumpy1077

8 kids?!?! Geesh... how can you afford to even go hunting? Lol! Hopefully they don't wanna come out west hunting too or you'll have to get a second job! Welcome! What part of Ill?
