New bow...stoked

Purchased new bow today, lefty Hoyt Powermax. I'm pumped...can't wait to get out and start practicing. High's forecast below zero next few days...Mother Nature is toying with me.

Very cool. Bowfished for years, but this season was my first attempt at deer hunting. Spot and stalk archery hunting is a new kind of obsession for sure.

Got at local Sheels. Shot this bow, a Bear, Hoyt Carbon. This fit me well...being so new to this, I really couldn't tell the difference between Powermax and the Carbon. It was package deal on sale for $599.

I added the Bee Stinger Stabilizer. Pretty standard three pin sight, and I liked the QAD Ultra Rest Hunter Drop Away Rest vs. a whisker biscuit.
