I use to hunt a ranch in Gillett Wyoming , but the rancher sold off his ranch to the coal company, I'm looking for an area in the state that offers public hunting, for archery and would have a 30% success rate, or I'm I dreaming.

every 2 to 3 years. when I was putting in before it would take me 2 or 3 years to draw a tag.

Were you paying that rancher an access fee? There are plenty of ranches in unit 23 right to the south of Gillette that you could pay for access and hunt avery year since there are always a ton of leftover licenses. The success rate would be 100% if you can shoot, as the unit is in the heart of antelope country.

no that was one of the nice things about it, it was a free deal so the hunt was affordable,

We hunted unit 26, We stayed on a ranch there, Antelope Ranch, Jay and Linda Butler. 18,000 acres. Alot of water tanks and ponds.

Very nice people. ALOT of antelope ! Was a great time.
