Nevada Unit 021

Hello folks, my nephew has drawn a mule deer tag for NV 021 for the Dec-Jan period. He will be using a rifle. I am going out to help him and his Dad but I am unfamiliar with the area outside of just doing some e-scouting on OnX. Any ideas, suggestions, past experiences would be greatly appreciated if there is any. Thank you very much.

Hunt the Pertersons. There is a 10K acre fire burning there at the moment and another earliner in the year but it still should have plenty of land to hunt. Focus on the East side.
