Hey guys, I am getting ready to hammer out a bunch of info for Nevada next week. As always I am looking for good info to add in. We are continually researching the hot spots and trying to stay on top of the changes. As you can imagine we don't get to hunt down there very often to hunt, so I have to rely on my local contacts. If you guys have any good updates, or have noticed anything good or bad throughout the state it is always good to hear from you. Also things such as wild fires, severe droughts, disease, etc. are key changes for a region. I will continue to hammer out the details with the biologists and some locals, but I would love to get some feedback from you guys! You can't get better info than having boots on the ground in each unit. Also, if you have any good pictures of any big game animals with a short story I would love to have them! I always try to include pics of local hunters in my write up. Thanks guys! -Jordan Breshears

I haven't seen anyone mention the combo tags this year for residents who draw certain buck or bull tags they will have the option to apply as a combo cow tag. Also some spike hunts too

They are calling them "Delk" and Belk" tags. Can't make that up. NDOW feels they are over the limit of elk agreed to. If you draw a Deer in an area they want to reduce cow numbers you may be offered the option to buy a cow tag. You may take both animals. Same concept with the Bull tag, draw one and get an option for a cow. I believe they are going to be very unit specific to address counts. Most likely pressure from Ag. Throws a wild card into the unit selection.
