If you have hired a outfitter I would be checking out the area that he hunts.

A outfitter is not going to be happy if you want to hunt a area that he is not familiar with just because you saw a great buck in a different area.

Skip the star if your coming in from the west eat at the Marten hotel in Winnamucca. Much better food.

Its such a huge area we drew it with 2 points this year. Pray for weather and its a great hunt if its dry and warm it will be rough.

Wow just an old deer hunter looking to spend a couple retirement days around Elko and maybe see some deer Elk maybe even a few antelope since I have 25 pts absolutely no harm intended

Your welcome and the Star has a huge following just never cared for it myself.

A lot ot 071 burned last year or the year before.
Its hard to share areas in 7 because its just such a large place.
Good luck
