Yes. You have to put in your safety corse and get registered into the Nv system before you can do any of that.

The class and lic numbers are on your hunting license once you purchase it.

Are you on the huntnevada.com site?

Assuming you are you would need to fill out the blank application to get registered.

At the bottom of the page it asks Select license Purchase option in a drop down window.

Then select purchase a license now. If you choose only to buy a license if drawn you will not build points if you don't draw.

Then you will be asked about. Mt lion tags, and so on into the page that you will select wich species you want to hunt. Hit mule deer

Then at the top you will see purchase point only. Click that.

The rest is pretty easy

There is a forum on their site called "BIG GAME APPLICATION HUNT HUNTER EDUCATION PRE-REGISTRATION" you print and fill out and fax or mail it and proof of hunters ed ( copy of hunters ed card or a license from another state that shows your hunters ed #) to them. Seems like it took about a week to complete when I did it 5 years ago.

Print it out just like Musket said and fax it and a copy of you hunters education card/certificate. Then you should be in the system the next day. Buy elk and antelope points also if you have any interest in them at all. NV has quality hunting for all of them and it helps to spread the dollars of having to buy the hunting license over 3 future hunts instead of just 1. That's the way I justify the cost to myself anyway lol.

On the hunters ed thing. You can do any of the posted above or call them and let them know what you need then scan and email your hunter ed card to an email address they will give you. You give them your name, address, dob, ss# and phone number and they will email back your Nv. ID number, usually within a couple hours. Once you have the ID just go online to the ap page and follow the instructions. Every time I've dealt with NDOW over the phone they have been the most helpful, pleasant people to deal with, maybe I've been lucky.
