Been eyeing this unit for a few years. Got lucky and drew the rifle tag this year. I have some insight on where to begin my scouting, but thought I would post here if anyone has information they would be willing to share. Basically where the water may be this year, best places to camp from, etc. Any info would be great. Thanks!

Spent some time in 67 on an elk hunt with my brother 2 yrs ago in Nov. Did see quite a few goats, even though they were basically herded up for winter. Really cool country I thought. I'm kind of a freak about hunting lopes, and it got my attention. We were in the northeast corner. There are lots of stock ponds, and a couple springs and creeks. Very hilly sagebrush country, which I think is fun to hunt lopes in. Access is kind of tricky, but it can be done. Actually saw a couple nice bucks that surprisingly still had horns.
