Need help with truck transmission 1992 / F-150 / 6cyl automatic

Hey Slugz, any update on your pick-up. I ask simply because I am my own shade-tree mechanic.
The yoke does not use a crush sleeve. There is a seal that goes behind it that should be replaced whenever the yoke is removed though.
It is the pinion gear that requires a new crush sleeve whenever it is removed but it is unlikely that it was damaged in any way.

He's got a automatic.

From what I remember on some automatics is if the rear output shaft gets pulled out it will drain the transmission of fluid. If this is the case odds are all you will need to do is to refill it once you have the drive line replaced.
If it is a 4x4, the driveline pulled out of the transfer case and not the transmission. I would check fluid in both.

All, no update as I haven't got my hands on it yet. I'm still overseas here at work until 3 April.....gonna try and take a close look at it in between chasing turkeys after I get back.
