Hey!! Maybe Missouri is a pretty darn good team, that has been a top 20 type program for the last 10 years.
Say What??? Missouri fans seem to have an inflated view of the program. In reality Missouri has not won it's conference since 1969 and that was shared. The last true outright conference championship was in 1945. Also during the entire BCS era Missouri never once played in a BCS game. Even teams like Wake Forest, KU, and KSU all managed to play in a BCS game.

Man, ouch. In Mizzou's defense, they beat the pants off of that ku team that went to the Orange Bowl. And Wake Forest? They got to go to a bcs game by virtue of being in the beyond horrible ACC. Mizzou has had the misfortune of not being as good as Texas, Nebraska and Oklahoma in the B12, and Bama, Auburn and Georgia in the SEC.
They've finished inside the top 20 5 times in the last 8 years, including 2 top 5 finishes. I'd say they are firmly entrenched as a top 20 program over the last decade, despite not winning a conference championship or playing in a bcs game.

Are they Oklahoma or Texas? No. Bama, Auburn, LSU? Nope.

I'm just giving you grief. It is astonishing that through all those seasons Missouri has not won a big bowl game or even a conference championship. Also surprising that the entire AD only has 2 national championships both of which are 50+ years old.
