After reading a bunch of hype about 2 blade penetration I bought a 30$ pack of 100gr magnus black hornets (2 blade) for my wife to try out of her bow for our moose hunt.

Highly unimpressed with how sharp the magnus broadheads were out of the package.

The muzzy's are surgical sharp.
The magnus was sharp but not even close to the muzzy

Compared the penetration of those VS muzzy 4 blade 90 grain.

Short story:

Shot them into several different items.

Both held up well

Muzzy literally penetrated the same distance in every test

She will be sticking with muzzy 4 blade 90 grain.

My reasoning:

They fly great out of her setup and I would rather her have a 4 blade gaping hole with 10" of penetration than a 2 blade hole that closes on itself like a slit with 10 inches of penetration. If that muzzy makes it into the rib cage (Which it will) that Muzzy is going to annihilate whatever it bumps up against with 4 surgical blades.

Though I would share the results with you all in case you are ever in the same boat. Might at least save you 30$.

I have also shot muzzy 4-blade 90 grains for 15 years. They are the real deal.

I will post pictures of her penetration on her moose if she kills one.
