Hi my name is Thomas Hendriksen i live in prairie city oregon, i should be packing an east grant muzzleloader elk tag in my pocket this fall. does anybody have any tips on what kind of bullet and powder mix to use and any tips in general? thanks.

Depends on the gun and rifling in the barrel. If its a 1:28 to 1:48 I would try 320 gr Thompson Maxi Balls and Triple 7 powder. Start at 100gr and work up from there until u find the best load. If its a 1:48 to 1:66 round balls will shoot best. I shot a Thompson Black Diamond XR and that load was very accurate. Hope that helps!
