I am looking for a good [location, unit, area, rancher] DIY recommendation for mule deer hunting in Wyoming.
My 72yr old dad is sitting on 4 preference points, and I am considering having him use them in the next year or two.
He is still very mobile, but won't be walking up any 10,000+ foot mountains.
I guess I am looking for guidance on a rifle draw with 4 or 5 points, for a nice respectable wall hanger muley.
We are from Iowa and regularly hunt whitetails, so I would really like his deer points to be used for something he doesn't already have.
My hunting partner and I are sitting on 5 and 6 points respectively and are not planning on muleys for at least a few years yet. We are saving them for a rifle trophy hunt, something like region G or equivalent.
