Had a slow morning, got them cranked up at one point but nothing would leave the woods for my setup. Old double bull T5 and a DSD jake and upright hen about 10 yards out. Didn't hear anything for a while and was packing up to make the kids soccer game (he got his first bird a couple weeks back) and peeked out the window to see two longbeards on a dead run across the plowed field for my decoys. I slapped the release back on and nocked an arrow. I sat back and waited for them to come into view of the only two windows I had open, and they came rolling in and smoked the jake. One clobbered the jake while the other strutted for the hen. I took aim on the strutter and let one fly. The wasp jackhammer hit him hard and made a big hole making up for a low and back shot (usually horrible on a turkey for me) and he hobbled off about 5 yards and died. His buddy didn't even notice and continued to beat on the decoy for a few more minutes until he finally walked off with my arm now out the window of the blind taking video with the phone. Both were mature birds with sharp spurs, took a good look with the binos at the one that walked away.

16.8 lbs, no feathers on the belly between the legs or on the inside of the legs
9.5" beard
1 1/4 spurs

I have found it fun to play with the editing options on the iPhone, can do some cool stuff with the colors.

Good work. Great hooks to boot.
