Was fortunate enough to draw one of 800 bear tags this year. Also lucky to fill tag opening morning. Best part was spending time at camp with old buddies.

Great to hear about something a little different! I grew up in MD, used to hunt and fish quite a bit in Garret county.

Garrett county is where I killed the bear. I live in Frederick county and have good friends in Garrett who help set me up to hunt bear. I will be in your neck of the woods 1st week of November. Gunna be archery hunting whitetails in Burlington Iowa area for a week or so.

Good luck with your Pennsyltucky bear hunt. I travel your area a lot with workup and down Rts 75, 522 and 76 Pa Turnpike. Beautiful area.

Gotcha. Did not get a bear, but was close to one the first day. Did get my rifle buck close to the Turnpike on our ground east of Willow Hill Interchange on the mountain that comes to an end close by.
