I'm selling my Manfrotto 190CX3 carbon tripod with a Vanguard PH-32 pan head. It went for $325 new. Selling for $195 TYD.

The legs have 3 strong sections each (2 that extend out) with lever locks and can adjust to 3 different positions. Two sections means a quicker setup and larger diameter (stronger) legs than the 4 and 5-section tripods.

At full 62" height, the legs don't flex and the carbon is far tougher than aluminum. If you've used aluminum you know a dent or bend in an aluminum leg is bad news.

Total folded height is 21.5" with the center column out or 24" with it in. Total weight is 4.5 lbs.

The head is a smooth, pan head with three bubble levels and a good size quick-release plate. It supports 11 lbs, well more than a 4 lb. Vortex 85mm spotter. The pan head is more precise than a ball head and much easier to pan with.

It's in good condition with a few very minor scuffs.

At 4.5 lbs, this carbon fiber tripod is not for backpackers. It's more of a tripod for use closer to the road where it does a great job of being steady enough for an 85mm spotter that at 62" is high enough to stand up and glass if you like. But, it's still light enough that if you want to take off after something you see, you can take it along.

I'm selling it to get a backpacker-type tripod because I do carry a tripod when I hike. I see where new versions are now often over $400.
