Looking for a meat processor in the Greybull area.

I'm going on a guided elk hunt in area 40 this year and was wondering if there was a meat processor in the Greybull area?

Your Outfitter should have a contact for you. In fact he should be able to tell you exactly who the best meat processor is.

There is one in basin, and one in Hyattville too I believe.

Basin Processing doesn't do wild game. Go to Paintrock in Hyattville.

The outfitter he speaks of is Brent Sorenson and he'll probably say the same thing as me. Paintrock. If not Paintrock, then Roger's Meats in Powell. Avoid Worland. Lane's is closed and the only other place is called Right Choice. It's the closest one to Greybull but in my opinion, it's the wrong choice.

I used paint rock last year on two cow elk. Lois did a good job. I would use them again.

I've used painted rock and Zero box in cody and both did a great job for me. the processor in thermopolis was way too expensive, seattle prices and then some.
