Doing some home work and research for next year, so my question is has anyone hunted Lone Mesa State Park and if so how was it and the terrain?

I live about 35 miles from it and worked there as a volunteer for 10 years. It has been discovered and it is getting really difficult to draw as they only allow 25 hunter per season. Lots of oak brush, pines and aspen. Has pretty good access roads, but only allows parking in certain areas. Some of the areas can get a little crowded, 6 or 8 hunters, but definitely better than the NF areas. Check Lone Mesa State Park web site for information.
