Lee Harrison Seek Outside Rep

Hey guys and gals!

This is Lee Harrison from Seek Outside. I've created a profile for my role in the company to let you all know of promotions, sales, or new products we may be coming out with. If you have any gear, tactics, or general questions feel free to ask.

I'll see you out there!

I’ve really had my eye on the Silvertip Teepee. They have some great options for backpacking and the price is very affordable

Welcome to the forum.

Here are a couple pics of the Seek Outside 8 man tipi & stove kit we bought last year. We put it up in my yard to seam seal it and get it figured out. We then used it on our scouting trip and again on our hunt with good results. We drove through the night to beat a significant winter storm on our hunt and got camp set up about 2 hours before the snow started falling. The next morning there was 15" of fresh snow. We were camping at a place we accessed with the truck so I brought a shop broom and scoop shovel along for the trip knowing the snow was coming. We used them 5-6 times that night to clear the snow off the tipi. With it being our first experience I didn't know what kind of snow load it could handle and didn't want to find out if something gave in the middle of the night, in the middle of a snow storm. We had no issues and stayed warm and dry for the whole trip. I love having a wood heated shelter in later season.

We looked at Kifaru and Seek Outside shelters and the biggest selling point on the Seek for us was the sod skirt around the base. Since we mainly hunt rifle seasons that tend to be later in the year sealing up more of the draft looked like the way to go. This trip the snow sealed it up really tight. I have a Megatarp and Paratarp from Kifaru I bought in years past and I'd consider the build quality to be equal between them. Both make great stuff!
