just curious, wanted to see how people did in the M11 and A30 hunts last year. I did not draw A30 last year, but did the year before. Just wanted to see if anyone got anything good.

I did not draw the tag, but know some people who did. Seemed to be fairly louzy last year due to the warm weather.

I drew A30 last year! we hunted a Gram ranch just outside of covelo. We had every type of weather you could ask for (warm, sunny, rain, snow, cold, fog you name it we had it). The small bucks at the begining of the season started to rut during the morning and late evening. Then by the last week all the small bucks were rutting pretty much all day. Never seen any mature bucks rutted up. Did see a couple good bucks but nothing that really gave me the wow factor. Seemed like the mature bucks were rutting at night. I know a guy who hunted public land out of eel river and he seen the same thing small bucks rutting and the big boys where coming out at night. We drew with 3 or 4 points. Would i put in for it again YES, i would hold out for the M11. I could have taken a real nice 4x4 if i would of had a muzzle loader. shotting a 100 yards with a bow is to far. Good luck
