Wondering if anyone has general thoughts on these three units for a late, controlled elk hunt. I have done the research and know a bit about each of these. 46 certainly seems to be the one that would be most desirable, but it also will have the worst draw odds and I am more interested in hunting and opportunity to find elk than the size of their rack. Thus the late hunt on 30 seems appealing to me, and I have spent quite a bit of time on the Montana side during archery season. However those aren't easy hunts from my experience.
60 sounds promising, but it appears to be heavily dependent on weather to push the migration.
But for a guy looking at just tagging a bull, willing to work to get at them, but wanting to spend time behind glass before exertion, I am wondering what you think about these three units in comparison?
