 It would be nice to be able to attend some of these events.
I bet in the right location in the East, the deer tours as well as the RMEF would fare well.

They're also offering 15% in the store! It's temping though. I have pretty much all I need from my BC trip. A icon pro 5200 bag would be good though. Get there EARLY!

That was crazy at the garage sale, they let all people in at the same time, all stuff was gone in about 20 seconds. We arrived right after 7am and were about on the middle of the line by the time they opened. I was able to get only one jacket and everything was gone. We were just waiting by the table and got few other things as people returned after trying. Then we purchase few items from the store with 15% discount and headed home.

Little bit of frustration. The garage sell is "all sells final." I understand that and have purchased pants with holes, broken zippers (better ventilation and the chicks dig it) etc. from Kuiu before. Well I picked up a pair of brown attack pants. The label was gone but in black ink Kuiu wrote 36. I cannot prove it was kuiu, but with no tags on the pants it is the obvious conclusion. They had a small hole and broken zipper. No problem. You cannot try clothes on and are not allowed to take them into the store to try them on. I wouldn't need to as all my other pants are 36 and fit fine. When I get home and put them on, they are a 34! I emailed kuiu and explained to them what happened. I don't care about the hole or the broken zipper..those can be fixed.. But I cannot make these pants a size 36, lol. C/S confirmed with "management" and they will not allow the return of the pants.

So, instead of refunding me my $40 or giving me store credit and re-marking these pants with the proper size, keeping them in their storage warehouse until next year when they can make $40 and keep a happy long time customer, they stand by their guns that "all sales are final."

I am a little P.O. and just thought I would rant about it on the forum.

(BSA this is not meant for you - just some frustration I needed to vent)

Yes, there was no fitting room but a lot of people were trying whatever they got and put it back on table if it didn't fit. That how I got few things.

I did see that, mostly shirts though.

The last thing any of those lady's needed to see was me trying on a pair of pants.

That's why I didn't go. Sorry guys KUIU has great stuff but you had better know your sizes and what your needs are. They have treated me great and taken great advice from a guide that I used in BC about the rain gear I originally purchased!

My first time going and you definitely needed a plan and know sizes and quickly judge if the garment was good zipper and hole wise. I picked up a pair of attacks and bunch of base layer stuff. I was thoroughly surprised though that wasn't any fighting or arguments that I could see and ppl seemed to be respectful from what I could tell definitely a huge turnout!
