I was wondering if many hunters from western states put in for the Ky elk draw. Our herd numbers around 10,000 and 1,000 tags issued this year. Only up to 10% for non residents but its something to think about next year considering the cost is only $10 to apply. The herd here is spread out over much of the eastern part of the state and is considered to be very healthy. A big thanks to the western states that helped with the reintroduction.
