Just got to Oregon

My brother in-law and wife are having a baby in Nov. My family is going to go and visit next spring. My wife gave me permission to go fishing. They live in Portland and have family in Bend. So you guys tell me when I should come.

I would come in November, buy a hunting liscense and a general archery deer tag and bow hunt Blacktails in the rut
Gotta buy the liscense and tag before gen season starts, which is Aug 30th

I can't come this year, all my vacation is spent on my Caribou hunt in Quebec, and deer/elk in WY. But maybe in the future, I would love to try archery blacktail.

Sounds like a fun fall! If you ever get the chance to hunt Blacktail let me know. I would like to send you to the south end of the state though.
