How's the prairie and grasslands looking like in the Laramie area? Have you got enough rain this spring to help recover from the drought?

Things are looking green, much better than last year. However, we have not gotten much rain recently, it's been very hot. . .

The horn growth I have seen has been better than expected. Have not seen as many fawns as I would like. I am hoping they are just dropping late. Drove thru Shirley Basin last week and saw over 200 antelope and only 12 fawns.

The game and fish expected low fawn recruitment due to drought, which is why most tag numbers stayed the same or were lowered. We've had a doe with two fawns and a doe with one hanging around the house. They look pretty good. They'll be good to go if mom keeps them around here where the coyotes won't come. . .
