Schuyler put together a list of some of the best antelope units according to the data. He sorted this one a little different and for those of you looking for weapons options, this is a great place to start.

38 has opened a new season this year and while not many tags or a very large population of goats, there are some bigguns running round out there.

Idaho has never been a place I've thought of antelope hunting. It's probably a sleeper state for big goats just low numbers.

Idaho isn't known as a goat destination, but with a little research I'm sure someone could have a great hunt.

IDAHO is fun to hunt for goats, for sure.
tough thing thing about idaho is drawing the hunt in the first place . all hunts are controlled hunts, no over the counter tags.
in over 30 years of applying ,I have only drawn 2 tags. I no longer even attempt to get a buck tag. as I tried and went 20 years straight ,to no avail.
it is possible to draw one every year but very unlikely.

yeah 47 is a tiny lil unit. not one of the better goat hunts in the state IMO.
