Just picked up my Weiser River Elk tag. Ive never hunted this unit before and was wondering if anyone has experience or some feed back on it. Not looking to get anyones secrets just maybe some direction to go do some scouting in August. I would like to get away from as many people as possible. Ive heard theres alot of people that hunt this unit. I dont mind 4x4 in and/or hiking in and even staying the night or two or three up on the hill. Also, does anyone have knowledge on the predator issues in this unit like, lion and wolf? So far i have no one to hunt with either, so if anyone is looking for a buddy to hunt with, let me know.
