Whether or not that is true, both bills are designed to make the application and drawing process more transparent by paying $102,500 per year to a private company to manage the draw.

say what???? thanks for this post, I had no idea!!

Doesn't seem fair to keep the F&G employees out of the draws to me.

Having a third party do the draw and keep things transparent does seem fair to me.

Interesting read.

IMHO a total waste of state resources and dollars just crafting the legislation. Seems to me that if there was unfair drawings (and I've heard these rumblings all my life, and I don't believe them) the States Attorney General would get involved. Maybe back in the early days of paper apps and drawings, but in today's computer generated drawings this would be a monumental task.

Also.....bad idea trying to separate those in charge of wildlife from participating in its enjoyment.
