My nephew scored on this brute a few days ago. We've killed several bears off of this mountain during the past few years and this one is easily the biggest. Just shy of B&C with a 19 1/8 measurement.
This same bear was hit by my brother 2 years ago; bad shot in no man's land. Then last year he showed up only between 2-5am. This year, he shows up on tje camera minutes after restocking. They returned the next day and make a solid hit at 2015. As the bear takes off, nephew sees (didn't know it at the time) a different large bear take off a different direction, so that's where they look. No blood, no bear. They planned to return in morning. When they got home, they happened to run into a dude that tracks bear blood with his dog. They return and the dog finds this brute 40 yards from the bait, piled up. The scar behind the upper front shoulder confirms the history between them and this bear. Pretty cool.
