Does anyone have absolutely any idea where i may be able to find any 22lr shells. I have a nephew that is just old enough to start shooting and we have no shells to shoot with. Looking for any websites that may have a supply to order from. thanks for any info and thanks for help keeping the young generations in the outdoors and not in front of the tv

My buddies were stocking up at walmart. 3box maximum per person per day but they were avaliable and not gouged up.

I was caught by surprise after the sandy hook school shooting and the panic buying that followed. I had little or no stock of 22's in my ammo vault. I reload for all my centerfire handguns & rifles and am well stocked there. But like almost everyone else in the country, no 22's. I'm retired, so almost every morning I go stand in line at WallyWorld to buy rimfire ammo. In 2 months I got around 1,000 rds of it. Most days, it's either shotshells or NO shells...sporadic deliveries. LGS has nothing. If you have a job, you're pretty much screwed for waiting in a line. JMO

I cant find a .22 rimfire anything around here to save my life! Owner of a local gun shop told me he expects it will be about 4 months before them are avalable consistently again. They are high priced but the only place I have found where you can actually get your hands on them in on gunbroker.com

That's why I shoot a traditional muzzleloader. Black powder and lead balls haven't gone up, and are easy to get.

Don't even have to deal with any of the stupid Colorado new gun laws.

You don't have to pay hazzardous shipping fees on loaded ammunition. But it can only be shipped via UPS. Illegal to ship it via USPS. Powder and primers, yes on hazzardous shipping fees but not on loaded ammunition.

I ordered some .32 S&W and I think the shipping was $15 above normal shipping on fedex and it can only ship ground and has to be signed for. It would be expensive getting it off of gunbroker but if you want it bad enough you can get it atleast.
