I live in central California and our forest ,sequioa national ,is very dense and over grown making glassing not very helpful and the deer I see don't really have a pattern so I try and slip stalk which has had very meger results . The DFG ssays we have a substantial deer herd so I must be doing something wrong. I'd love to hear any advice or maybe a better zone to hunt than D8. Thank you in advance.
